8 out of 15 of Da Vinci's "TO-DO list" was to "ask so and so"!!!

Toshitaka Mochizuki-san's mail magazine is so interesting!

Let's learn from it!

┌1)A painting that was sold at the highest price ever
└──────

On November 15th, 2017,

at an art auction,
new history was carved.

At Christie's auction,
a piece of art appeared that successfully bid at the highest price ever of
450.3 million dollars (roughly 51 billion yen)

The title of it was 《Salvator Mundi (Savior)》。

The artist was was none other than

Leonardo Da Vinci

who was called the versatile genius.

Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft was also a believer of DaVinci, and left this comment.

-----------

「DaVinci came close to understanding

almost all of what was known
on the planet at the time.

-----------

Yet even so, DaVinci in fact practiced a certain habit

that all of us have done at least once.

┌2)Geniuses are those who made learning their work
└──────

That is creating a
To Do List」

「Writing out the deadlines of things that need to be done
and checking them off as they are achieved」

We have most likely done this

at least once.

However, the list of this versatile genius
was slightly different.

In his list that currently exists,

there are 15 items written out.

And・・・

8 items out of the 15 were
about【learning something】

-----------

□ Learn about the area of a triangle from an arithmetic master.

□ Have the Monks of Brera show me "about weight"

□ Ask Giannino of artillery about how he made the wall without opening holes in the Ferrara Tower.

□ Ask Benedetto Portinari about how people move forward on ice in the Flanders region.

-----------

etc・・・

He also put 「learning」itself

on the tasks to handle list.
Many people try to do or learn something new

when they have a decent amount of time, or money.

However, it is the geniuses who make learning something new,

on the level of daily work.

In your work today, how much time did you spend on "learning"?

The more that time increases, the more your talents will blossom and awaken.

Geniuses are those who make "learning" their job.

Thank you for reading today too.
