A vibrant, lively energy!!!
My mission is clear!
Living with excitement!

—so the Time Waver told me (lol)

Dr. Miki Nagaokaand our conversation

https://nagaoka-miki.com/

It was truly so much fun!

↓↓↓

The conversation started with “treating the gut flora,” then midway moved on to “what is the root cause of illness,” then to “perception and enlightenment,” and finally deepened into “the reason humans exist in the age of AI.”

1→ Gut flora doesn’t change easily

The first topic was gut flora.

Change your diet
↓
The gut bacterial environment changes
↓
This affects metabolism, immunity, the autonomic nervous system, and more
↓
And it affects not only the body but the mind as well

That was how the conversation flowed!

Ordinary dietary improvement alone takes a long time to make a big change.

Fecal transplant is faster.

The tests at her clinic

don’t look at individual bacteria, such as “how many kinds of lactobacilli are there,”

“immune system,”
“metabolic system,”
“autonomic nervous system,”

but see the whole body as a network of bacteria—that was the idea.

2→ Changing gut flora doesn’t necessarily mean a “complete cure”

Here the conversation goes a level deeper.

Even if you balance the gut flora and symptoms improve,

“Then why did that person’s gut flora get disrupted in the first place?”

—that question remains.

In other words,

Symptoms
↓
Gut flora
↓
Diet and lifestyle habits
↓
And further, the person’s way of living and perception

unless we keep digging for causes like this, we can’t reach the true root cause—that was the point raised.

This is the key turning point of the dialogue.

The speaker thinks that “even gut flora treatment may ultimately be only symptomatic treatment.”

3→ The hypothesis that “perception” lies even deeper than the body

From here we move away from medicine into the philosophy of nTech / perception technology.

“How that person perceives the world”
↓
“Shapes their identity and way of living”
↓
“Gives rise to daily life, diet, stress, and so on”
↓
“And is reflected in the body and the gut environment as well”

That is the structure.

Therefore, rather than changing only the body, we must change the deeper root: “perception itself.”

It would be more accurate to treat this part not as a medically confirmed causal relationship but as the philosophy and worldview of the nTech side.

4→ Seeing “enlightenment” as a reset of perception

“Enlightenment” in this dialogue is not a religious or mystical experience so much as

“doubting the very way you see the world, which you take for granted, and returning to the starting point of perception.”

That is what it means here.

The keyword is “all-zeroing.”

The world exists
↓
I perceive it

Rather than this ordinary way of thinking,

“How is the world I see established through perception in the first place?”

—that is what is being understood.

The state in which that understanding becomes 100% clear is what is called “enlightenment.”

5→ Why just hearing the explanation isn’t enough to understand

Premise
↓
The mechanism of perception
↓
The mechanism by which the world comes into being
↓
Zeroing
↓
The mechanism by which the world is born from there

Unless you go through it in this order, you can’t understand it.

I was told to sit down once and really study it (lol),

so Takumi Yamazaki has decided to learn it!

6→ Then the talk turned to AI

In the latter half of the dialogue, the theme moved to the age of AI.

As AI develops
↓
AI takes over areas humans have carried—knowledge, information processing, language, judgment
↓
The idea that “humans have value because they have abilities” starts to waver
↓
Then what do humans exist for?
↓
We come to need to question the very “reason for human existence”

This is where nTech has a role.

Rather than competing with AI on ability,

we should move into the realm of
“What is a human being?”
“What is the heart?”

“Why do we exist?”

7→ From “value of existence” to “reason for existence”

This is the philosophical heart of the dialogue.

↓↓↓

Change the question from

“What value do I have?”

to

“Why do I exist?”

Succeeding, earning money, working, meeting people, even falling ill—

all of it is “the endeavor of trying to know who I am.”

In this view, what matters is less the events of life themselves than coming to know “what I am” through those experiences.

8→ The gut flora story and enlightenment connect again

On the surface, we think,

“I ate this, so I have this gut flora.”

—and leave it there.

But

“Why did this person become someone who chooses that diet, lifestyle, and behavior?”

—we dig one step deeper.

Then,

Gut flora

→ Diet
→ Lifestyle habits
→ Behavior
→ Thought
→ Identity
→ Perception

—we end up tracing the cause back in this direction.

So the conversation settled on the thought that if we deeply research “gut flora × perception,” it would become something different from a mere health theory.

Summary

Symptoms → Gut flora → Lifestyle habits → Identity → Perception → Enlightenment → The reason humans exist

—how deep do we dig for the cause?

And

Evolution of AI → The value of human ability declines → Re-asking what a human being is → Understanding perception → Returning to the reason for existence

“When we change a human being, how far down do we go to find the root cause?”

Dr. Ishikawa,

thank you so much!
