A message between hearts, within a dream?
"Humanity has finally turned sleep itself into a 'fully realized reality.'"
Breaking this down further, it means three tremendous shifts:
- There Is No Longer Such a Thing as "A Night Alone"
Until now, no matter how close two people were, the world inside a dream was always "a solitary world belonging only to oneself." But from now on, "let's meet up in a dream tonight" or "see you in a dream" will become everyday phrases. Dreams will become the "new SNS," following in the footsteps of LINE and Zoom. - Sleep Becomes a "Second Life"
The eight hours that used to be just for resting the body now transform into a "second life" — one in which you can work, study, receive counseling, or enjoy entertainment. It's like the length of your life effectively becoming 1.5 times longer. - The Movie "Inception" Becomes Reality
Entering another person's dream, planting messages, sharing memories — these are no longer science fiction, but "science."
Conclusion: "Even while we sleep, we'll remain continuously connected to the world." The "back side of the brain" — humanity's last line of privacy defense — is finally about to be opened up.

The Silicon Valley neurotechnology startup REMspace has made an announcement that sounds straight out of a sci-fi movie, drawing attention from around the world. The company claims to have achieved the first-ever two-way communication between two people while both were in a state of lucid dreaming.
According to their experiment, two volunteers were put to sleep under a monitoring system that tracked brainwaves and eye movements. While in a lucid dream state — a state in which a person knows they're dreaming and can control it — the first dreamer was given a random word through earphones.
That dreamer reportedly repeated the word within the dream using "Remmyo," a special dream-language system developed by REMspace. The second dreamer, also in a lucid dream state, received and confirmed the same word — all while remaining asleep.
If accurate, this could dramatically advance our understanding of consciousness and the hidden capabilities of the human brain. It suggests that structured information could actually be transmitted from mind to mind within the dream state — something that previously belonged only to the realm of fantasy.
Michael Raduga, the founder of REMspace, believes this is only the beginning. His team envisions a future in which people connect directly through dreams, collaborating with one another or healing psychological trauma. Technology like this might one day help scientists explore memory, treat nightmares, or unlock human creativity in entirely new ways.
Of course, these are still early-stage, unverified claims — more data and peer-reviewed research will be needed before this can be called a true breakthrough. But even as a concept alone, the idea that two people could share messages between dreams opens the door to an entirely new frontier in neuroscience and human experience.
Whether or not it turns out to be real, one thing is clear: the boundary between our dream world and our waking reality has never been thinner.

The brain remains active for far longer than we ever imagined. And if that's true — where, exactly, does the boundary between life and death actually lie?

"Are we really living by our own will?"
The Relationship Between the Subconscious Mind and Gut Bacteria
We believe we eat, think, and act by our own will. But what if that "will" itself is actually being controlled by the countless bacteria living in our gut? As I deepened my research into hearing (gut-sense), I arrived at a startling hypothesis: "Could humans simply be costumes worn by bacteria?" I'm convinced this question — emerging quietly at the intersection of psychology, neuroscience, and gut microbiome research — is a theme modern people can no longer afford to ignore.
Encountering the Hypothesis: "Humans Are Bacteria is a costume"
I first began seriously studying gut bacteria through my research into gut health. The more I dug in, the more one astonishing fact rose to the surface: research findings suggesting that bacteria control human behavior.
At first, it was hard to believe. But the evidence kept piling up. Gut bacteria may not simply be helpers in digestion — they may function as a command center for our thoughts, emotions, and actions.
When I arrived at this realization, it felt like the pieces of a puzzle suddenly clicked together in my mind. "Are we really living by our own will?"
---
Where Two Fields of Research Intersect: The Subconscious and Gut Bacteria
The Question of "Who Is Creating My Life?"
If you study psychology, there's a conclusion you almost inevitably arrive at: that our conscious mind appears to be the one building our life — but in reality, it isn't. We believe "I am thinking, judging, and acting," but research suggests we may simply be observers.
In neuroscience, it's been revealed that the neural signals behind an action fire in the brain before the conscious "decision" is made. In other words, our "consciousness" is only recognizing things after the fact — the true decision-making happens somewhere much deeper.
And as I continued researching gut bacteria, I came to feel that the true identity of this "deeper place" might be the gut environment.
A Door at the Intersection of "X × Y"
Subconscious research (X) and gut bacteria research (Y) — could there be, at the intersection of these two fields, a door leading to a better life? The moment I felt this, I became convinced that pursuing this theme was my mission.

The Astonishing Overlap Between Gut Bacteria and the Subconscious
Appetite, Emotion, Judgment — The Gut Decides First
Consider the act of "eating what you want to eat." We believe we're choosing our food based on our own preferences, but in reality, it's highly likely that the gut bacteria are the ones craving that food, and appealing to us through the sensation of "I want to eat this."
Furthermore, I have a feeling that anger, thinking, judging, acting, and even verifying those actions — this entire chain of mental activity — may also be commanded by gut bacteria.
Priority #1: "Sustaining Life," Priority #2: "Propagating Offspring"
When you consider the priorities of the subconscious (the unconscious mind), the first priority is "sustaining life," and the second is "leaving offspring."
This aligns perfectly with the structure by which the gut environment, in its own effort to survive, issues commands to our human bodies. For gut bacteria, our continued health and survival as their host is a matter of life and death. That's why they keep issuing commands for every action — in order to keep us alive.
What the subconscious does and what gut bacteria do are astonishingly similar. I believe there's a very high chance these two are simply two sides of the same mechanism

Knowing You're Being "Controlled" Is the First Step Toward Freedom
Adopting the Perspective of Meta-Cognition
If our patterns of thought, emotion, and behavior are indeed being guided by gut bacteria, then what we need first is to take the position of "the self that is aware of this."
Without the perspective of "meta-cognition" — observing yourself from outside yourself — we end up living, swept along, without ever noticing the commands of our gut bacteria.
Practicing gut health and adopting this "meta-cognitive" perspective go hand in hand. Maintaining a habit of caring for your gut environment while continually asking "where is my current thought or emotion really coming from?" is the key to transforming your life at its foundation.
We Need to Look More Deeply at the Life We're Living Now
The idea that much of our behavior and emotion may come not from our own will, but from our gut bacteria — this is by no means a nihilistic claim that "humans are just puppets." In fact, it's the opposite.
It's only by knowing we're being controlled that we can finally ask the essential question: "So then, how should I be?" Understanding the relationship between gut bacteria and the subconscious means understanding the foundation of your own life — and that's where true self-control, in its real sense, begins.
---
The First Step — Start by "Knowing"
Are You Still Stuck at "Gut Health = Yogurt"?
I think many people's understanding of gut bacteria is still stuck at a shallow level — "eat yogurt," "relieve constipation." Of course, that matters too, but the true power of gut bacteria lies in a much, much deeper place.
The gut is connected to your very thoughts, emotions, and outlook on life. Just holding this perspective fundamentally changes how you approach gut health.
Tomorrow, Watch Three YouTube Videos About the Gut
There's just one thing I want you to do tomorrow: watch three YouTube videos about gut bacteria. If you say "I don't even have time for that," it's fine to just record related content and watch bits of it during spare moments.
Humans are creatures who find it hard to put things into action even when we understand them logically. That's not foolishness — it's part of what makes us human, and it's even a charming quality that gives life its story. But this particular topic touches the very foundation of your life. Please find a little bit of grit, and open that door.
Once you step through the door, the engine for learning naturally ignites on its own. Take just that first step, and curiosity will carry you the rest of the way.

Conclusion — Knowing Your Gut Is Knowing Yourself
"Could humans simply be costumes worn by bacteria?" — this question is neither an outlandish conspiracy theory nor idle philosophical speculation. It's a theme that emerges, backed by scientific grounding, at the very point where three fields — psychology, neuroscience, and gut microbiome research — intersect.
Much of what we believe to be "our own will" may actually be signals from our gut bacteria. Knowing this, and adjusting our gut environment while holding onto the perspective of meta-cognition — I believe this is the most essential path of self-transformation, one that addresses both the subconscious and gut bacteria at once.
Where, right now, is the steering wheel of your life? Knowing your gut should be the first answer to that question.
