Today — one of the crowdfunding rewards: a visit to the art museum together, followed by tea at the Ritz-Carlton afterwards!

TATE COLLECTION.

Thank you so much!

"Takumi-san, what kind of feeling do you enjoy art museums with?"

To that question, I answered like this:

"I'd love to hang this in my room!"

"This would look perfect in such-and-such hotel~"

"Do you use it as a reference for your own paintings?!"

"Yes! I get inspired (= shamelessly steal) from them"

"But now… you can use it like this!" and…

I take photos of pieces that catch my eye at the museum, then process them with ChatGPT.

And then — they're reborn as new works! (lol)

↓↓↓ I got permission to take this photo

I asked ChatGPT about this artwork. "What kind of prompt would produce an illustration like this?" And then…

It becomes this

I had the participants sit in front of this piece! (lol)

And then — everyone into this piece! ↓↓↓

This is what turned up!

And then this・・↓↓↓into this

This became・・・

↓↓↓This

Everyone gets transported to an incredible place!

The mischief just won't stop!!!

We transformed into a rock group lol

Thank you for such a wonderful time!

The afternoon tea at the Ritz-Carlton was absolutely wonderful though!

And — looking forward to continuing this journey together!

And after that — Tokyo Tower, thank you so much!

Your name: "Please tell me the mission hidden within my name."

Your date of birth: "Please research using astrology and numerology from around the world, and tell me my mission — what kind of person I am in terms of what I devote my life to!"

Give it a try!

Thank you for yesterday!

Lecture by Dr. Yuji Naito on "A Healthy Gut Environment for the 100-Year Life Era"

Dr. Naito's argument is not simply about "relieving constipation" — it is grounded in the latest medicine, which holds that"the metabolites produced by gut bacteria control aging and disease throughout the entire body."

Stage 1: Modern Health Challenges and the Importance of "Gut Bacteria"

    • The gap between lifespan and healthy lifespan: Japanese people live long lives, but the final approximately 10 years typically require nursing care. The key to extending the healthy portion of that lifespan lies in "gut health."
    • Whole-body impact: The gut is not merely a digestive organ — 70% of the immune system is concentrated there, and it is intimately connected to organs throughout the body, including the brain, blood vessels, and skin (brain-gut axis, gut-skin axis, etc.).
    • Loss of diversity: The gut bacteria of modern people have lost diversity due to processed foods, antibiotics, and unbalanced diets — and this is a cause of chronic inflammation and lifestyle-related diseases.

Stage 2: The Core of the Theory-The Role of Short-chain Fatty Acids (butyrate)

What Dr. Naito emphasizes most strongly is the function of "short-chain fatty acids (particularly butyrate)" produced when gut bacteria break down dietary fiber.

  • Energy source and barrier function: Butyrate serves as the primary energy source for large intestinal epithelial cells, strengthening the gut's barrier function and preventing "leaky gut."
  • Anti-inflammatory effects: It induces immune cells (regulatory T cells) and suppresses excessive inflammation throughout the body — thereby contributing to the prevention of diabetes, arteriosclerosis, dementia, and more.
  • Metabolic regulation via receptors: Short-chain fatty acids act on receptors throughout the body, promoting the secretion of hormones that boost metabolism and suppress appetite.

Stage 3: Factors that Worsen Gut Health (Dysbiosis)

    • High-fat, high-protein Western diet: Harmful bacteria proliferate, disrupting the balance of the gut flora (dysbiosis).
    • Ultra-processed food consumption: Additives such as emulsifiers and preservatives may thin the gut's mucous layer and trigger inflammation.
    • Loss of muscle mass: A decline in physical activity and a decline in gut bacteria quality are correlated, accelerating the progression of frailty.

Stage 4: Practical Approaches (Solutions)

The following two points are presented as the theoretical methods for creating a healthy gut environment:

      1. Probiotics (introducing bacteria):
        • Incorporate live beneficial bacteria through fermented foods (natto, miso, yogurt, pickles, etc.).
      2. Prebiotics (cultivating bacteria):
        • Diversity of dietary fiber: Consume a balanced variety from "6 groups" — grains, vegetables, fruits, legumes, seaweed, and mushrooms.
        • "Soluble dietary fiber" in particular is important as a fuel source for producing short-chain fatty acids.
        • The traditional Japanese dietary style of "Ma-Go-Wa-Ya-Sa-Shi-I" is theoretically excellent as well.

Conclusion; The Goal to Aim for

To summarize Dr. Naito's theory: "by consuming diverse dietary fiber, enabling gut bacteria to produce diverse short-chain fatty acids, and controlling chronic inflammation throughout the body" — this is the ultimate anti-aging strategy for the 100-year life era.
