Dropped out of university at 20 and opened an American bar, "ROCKWELL'S," with friends. Expanded to 4 locations in just 2 years — then at 23, walked away from it all and founded Sanctuary Publishing.
His autobiography Mainichi ga Bouken (Every Day is an Adventure) became a bible for young people; he has authored over 30 books with cumulative sales surpassing 2 million copies. He then set off on a round-the-world trip just 3 days after getting married, and established a self-sufficient village, Beach Rock Village, in Okinawa.
Currently based in Hawaii, he serves as President of WORLD DREAM SCHOOL.
