━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
2 steps you want to do during the beginning and end of the year.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

It's almost 2020!
It's a good idea to "reflect on the year" and "set next years goals" at the same time.

World famous coach Anthony Robbins says the following.

"The secret of life is memory management"

Especially for goal setting, before you imagine the future,

first, list up your "past successes."
This "memory management" becomes important.

Start with reflecting on the past,
and list up all of your achievements, both big and small.

It could be that you got 1st place at a sports event when you were in grade school,
or that you were able to go to the live event of your favorite artist when you were in junior high school.

It could be for joy when you had a baby,
Or about when you were happy that your room got clean,
or when you achieved a goal you set at work.

What's important is that you first list up "All the things you have achieved/did until now."
Remember those things as you list them up.

 What this means is,
those who continue to succeed
take on more challenges than the average person, so they also fail more often.

But they are good at memory management.

In other words,
They regularly recall "memories that will give them positive emotions" so that they can stay in that state.

However, most people are very "affected by the latest good/bad things that happen around them."

It has been proved and become clear through an experiment that

When people have something negative happen to them recently, they rate their life as "having a low level of happiness" and become pessimistic about the future.

Whereas when people have had something good happen to them recently, rate their lives as "having a high level of happiness"  and become optimistic about the future.

This could work in your favor at times, but it will make your daily life like a roller-coaster full of ups and downs.

What is important is that you can bring your emotions to a positive state through "the memories you recall yourself."

This is especially important when goal setting.

So first start with listing up your "past successes and achievements".

Next is to create your 2020.

Important points to remember when doing this are:

If you could do anything, what do you want to do?
What sort of year would the best 2020 be?
If you could not fail, what would you aim for?

To create the "ideal future" for you.

What would be the best state for your health? What would be the best state for your business
How would skills/talents be developed in order to be in the best state?
What would be the best financial state?
What do you need to do for your family and human relationships to be the best it can be?

For example, you want to lost 10 kgs, you want a lover, you want to go on a hot-spring trip with your family, want to double your income, want to go play golf every weekend, want to watch 50 movies a year etc.

When you picture your future, what is most important is
not "whether you can do it or not."

Whether you'll have done it in a year or not,
will depend on what you choose or don't choose in the coming year.

Your future is yet to be created.

So it's not about "whether you can or not". Rather, place importance on, "does that goal switch ON your emotions?"

For example,

There's no one who gets exciting saying,

"Alright, today I'm going to go off to work and give my best today in order to pay my monthly bills!"

However, there are many people who would get excited saying,
"Alright, today I'm going to go off to work and give my best today too in order to travel the world with my family."
Humans are no machines.
They are emotional creatures.

When your emotional switch is on, what you thought was impossible becomes possible.
When your emotional switch is on,  even if you don't have time, you'll figure out how to make the time.
When your emotional switch is on, you'll jump up in the morning, and live your day absorbed in it.

If you're going to set goals this new year, try out these 2 steps.

【Step 1】:Remember all that you've achieved so far

【Step 2】:Write out your best 2020

I hope there are hints in this for you.

Wishing you a 2020 beyond your wildest imaginations!
