Not WHAT, but WHY

How to make friends

Why are friends important?

The mouse experiment

Water with drugs/plain water.

When the mouse was on its own, it easily got addicted to the

water with drugs

The mouse with family and friends

drinks the normal water

Addiction is attracted by loneliness

e.g. mobile phone addiction, sugar addiction

Doing something at the expense of something else

Sometimes it's a who. maybe it's time to put a name on it.

Facing reality

You sometimes cancel things because of work, right?

But not the other way around? No!

↓↓↓

When something happens, who helps you?

Your work or your friends?

In the past,

having friends and community met many of our emotional needs

as social creatures,

but now, because we have less,

we put all our expectations on our lover or on our work.

We seek to get friendship, companionship, fulfillment and all the things from it.

It's a lot of pressure

Let's ask our friends for help

Why don't you show your weaknesses?

Being vulnerable brings connection.

Four questions...can you answer these questions about your team or about your friends?

Do you know....

1) What they need right now?

2) Who they most want to meet?

3) What do they love to do?

4) Who do they love the most?

Can you answer these questions about your team members?

If you can't

↓↓↓

Can you really say you are providing value?

↓↓↓

Do this first, before trying to achieve high goals or saying you want a "better" friend group.

First be a good friend to the one you already have.
