Today I met these two that I hadn't met for 30 years. Wow!

We were in our mid-twenties back then.

I thought about my life a little.

Until I was 15 years old,

I lived in Ise-Shima, Mie Prefecture.

Raised by parents who ran a pearl farm.

I learned athletics from Mr. Obama.

Moved to Matsusaka City, Mie Prefecture for 3 years from the age of 15.

Entered Matsusaka High School.

Learned track and field from Nagai sensei and Tanaka Yuichi Tanaka sensei

Won second place in the Tokai competition.

I was so happy.

It is a symbolic scene in the sense of experiencing an aura of joy.

Entering among the top 10 in the high school ranking

had a significant impact on my self-image.

I successfully passed the entrance exam to the Faculty of Education at Hiroshima University and went to college.

At the time, I wanted to become a physical education teacher,

but the second exam was only practical.

I felt like I was wearing clogs, as I received an academic label.

I spent 4 years in Hiroshima and Fukuyama city from the age of 18.

In my freshman year, I finished in third place in the West Japan Intercollegiate

I was ranked as one of Japan's top 30 in the West Japan Intercollegiate Championships in my first year.

My self-image exploded.

It was also a great experience to earn money with a part-time job.

A few months before I turned 21, I started a business.

I was fascinated by the people I met there and the people I met,

and it turned my life around.

At age 22, I moved to Hiroshima City,

but decided to return to Mie (to his parents' house).

I decided to re-start my business organization in Mie from scratch,

what I had built while in Hiroshima.

That may have been one of the turning points that gave me strength?!

I travelled around the country, building my business

and giving lectures.

At the age of 25, I reached a major turning point.

I fell into decline, and people around me disappeared at once.

This is the period I call the "Taku Period."

It was during this period that he met these two.

In a sense, I think it was a time when I was a confident man,

but I was like a sad person with my wings torn off.

Thank you for supporting me then.

I took up surfing, built a house, and

faced my friends and traveled around the country by car.

At age 29, I left for Kobe.

I started living in the same apartment block (vertically, lol) as

Nagatomo and Matsui!

All at once, I began to spend more time with two people with good taste

and I learned many things.

Music, fashion, adult enjoyments...

We played guitar and sang.

Housing complexes built by Tadao Ando were

found in museum stores around the world at that time.

I also started researching Bashar's with gusto around this time.

My business grew steadily.

I published my first book.

Around this time, the Internet began to take off and

I launched a website, which was a rarity in those days.

I also had a solo exhibition of my art in New York.

The encounter with Aman Resort was also significant.

It changed my travel style.

At the age of 36, I moved to Tokyo.

My network of contacts expanded at once,

and I published many more books.

I also  tried my hand at a cafe in Nakameguro.

I produced CDs, my drawings became CD jackets,

I also started illustrations for magazines, and doors opened that I never knew existed.

I think the change of residence was a big factor.

Having a family was also significant.

I was able to rebuild my business, which had been in a slump for a while.

In my mid-40s,

I moved to Paris.

It ended up being 3 years spent there,

but it was also big.

At that time, smartphones were still rare.

Smartphones were rare.

YouTube was not something you could watch, as it would take so long to load.

I held solo exhibitions in New York every year.

I was asked to publish a great number of books.

Now, at the age of 57, I have written my 57th book.

I've traveled all over the country.

All around the world.

But the spread of covid has made my life centered in Tokyo for the past three years.

This has been fun and unusual for me, but

I'm beginning to get tired of it.

More than 20 years ago, my father passed away.

My mother passed away last year.

In a little over 10 years, I'll be 70 years old.

I spent these past three days as slowly as possible,

putting a stop to my extremely busy daily schedule.

This is a good pace.

Let's keep the pace like this.

I heard princess Kayamado's deep realization and it really linked with the

conversation I had with Hiromi Wada

and her thoughts on having a fan base〜〜〜

The other day someone pointed out to me, about the phrase "increase your fan base"

saying it may be better to describe it as "being blessed with fans."

There is such a thing as a  "Devil's Laugh."

I want to have "angelic laughter".

Laughing at someone by belittling them = the devil's laugh.

Laughter that makes people happy = angelic laughter

Don't despise yourself either!
