I will share my report from Tadao Ando's seminar
⚫️What Japan can be proud of in the world
・Cleanliness
・Beautiful
・Safe and Secure
⚫️The current state of Japan
・Mentality of prioritizing sales/profit
Power and strength of spirit is being lost
・Support for Skills, Science, Art, and Culture is weak
→What was once Japan will disappear
⚫️"Strategy for living"
・Speed, Change
(Other countries such as China, Korea, America have this)
・Physical strength, energy, maintenance, don't do wasteful things
→Walk 10,000 steps a day, take 40 minutes to eat a meal, take one hour lunch break, going to gym at night
・Need to be prepared for life
→ Change even "have nots" into power.
What to do about handicaps?
If you "don't have" think of solutions despite.
(Ando Sensei doesn't have most of his internal organs or educational background)
・Look ahead
→Everyone is looking down
→Obstacles are for overcoming
→"Moving forward" means "causing problems"
・Mentality of living together and helping one another
→Japanese have this. Our heart bonds are connected.
・Pride
→If you don't have this, life will be rough
→It's pointless if you lose love for what you have done
・We are in an age where the entire world is one
→Fighting Global warming・Natural disasters ・Declining birthrate and aging population・Decrease in population
→Education is necessary
・You'll stay young as long as you have a goal
