Today I'm joining the retreat in Okinawa as a guest.

Thank you everyone who will be joining

It’s fascinating that we can do things like this now!
I wonder if there’ll come a day when even this feels nostalgic.

So today, I’m reposting this.

What is your mission?!

Try entering the following into ChatGPT ↓↓↓

“Takumi Yamazaki.”
Please tell me the mission hidden in my name.
Born on April 9, 1965.
Using fortune-telling systems and statistical frameworks from around the world,
please explore and explain my mission—
what kind of life this soul is meant to devote itself to.

we'll carry everyone far and wide!

There are two ways to raise your productivity with your work.

One thing is
to sleep for 7 hours.

The other is
the Pomodoro time technique
the Tomato time technique.

Sleep because you’re sleepy.
It sounds obvious, but
how are you actually doing it?

Calculate your sleep,
and let yourself fall asleep.

The era of quantity is over.
It’s the era of quality.
So—sleep.

Mr. Tateishi of OMRON proposed the SINIC theory.
In 1975—can you believe that?!

Audrey Tang talked about this with Yoichi Ochiai.
Ochiai-san’s father passed away…
what a wonderful god of words.

The other day, I saw Ochiai-san in person for the first time.
It was an art space, and thanks to Yuri Tanaka.

OMRON (formerly Tateishi Electric) founder
Kazuma Tateishi presented a future-forecasting theory
at the International Futurists Conference in 1970.
This theory later became deeply rooted
as the core of the company’s management philosophy.

It is called the SINIC Theory.

Below is an overview of how this theory was positioned
in the context around 1975.

1. What is the SINIC Theory?(A compass for the future)

A future-forecasting theory announced in 1970 by OMRON founder Kazuma Tateishi.

It is based on the idea that Science, Technology, and Society evolve while influencing one another, moving forward in a circular progression.

2. Astonishing predictive accuracy

As early as 1970, the theory accurately foresaw social changes from modern times into the near future:

  • Late 1980s onward: Information Society (the spread of computers)

  • Around 2005 onward: Optimization Society  (balancing information and social challenges)

  • Around 2025 onward: Autonomous Society (shifting from material wealth to inner richness)

3. Application to management (anticipating social needs)

OMRON positioned this theory as the very core of its management philosophy—its compass.

Guided by the belief that“A company exists to solve social issues,”
the company succeeded in developing solutions
that addressed needs before society even recognized them
(such as automatic ticket gates and unmanned station systems).

We are now right in the middle of the transition
from the Optimization Society
to the Autonomous Society, where inner richness and self-direction matter most.

You know the Pomodoro Technique, right?!

25 + 5 minutes

Because you keep switching your focus again and again,
that sense of freshness lasts much longer.

It's the same as sleeping

It's all about the quality〜〜〜

I wrote that it was all thanks to Yuri Tanaka when I talked about Ochiai-san,

and I really mean it when I say “thanks to”.

I went to L.A. and was taken care of by LISA,
formed a soul-level hotline with Director Yuki,
then went to Yamagata to meet Tezuka-san and Koga-san.

And then—no taxis came. None at all.
That’s when Yuki-san called out to me,
and that connection led to yesterday.

Fujimoto-san reached out,
I became a judge for a business competition.
Then I met Kazuo-chan at the after-party,
POMO was born, which led into the flow of this crowdfunding project,
and now I’m getting advice on new return ideas.

In Singapore, HIDEKO-san took care of me,
which sparked the rise of the “Aliens Gathering,”
and from there connected to the ever-rolling stone.

That stone, too—
during COVID, I wrote “The Teachings of Neo-Shaka,”
got deeply into Buddhist painting,
and somehow…
my tongue got tangled up right here, right now.

Everything is connected.

So don't get too excited

Don't get too sad.

Keep moving forward with the White Engine!

Last night talking with Dr. G, we talked about the coming future.

AI Doctor.

It reads 100,000 papers every day.

Its collaboration with Harvard is insane.

Minerva.

Place a camera at the table center,

and it tracks what you ate, what exercises you did?

What time you slept, how deeply you slept?

A service that makes suggestions based on all that?!

The ultimate

Hyper-Personalization!!!

Individual observation

Individual judgment

Individual guidance

Super Hyper Personalization!!!

Could science strip health bare?!

Someone kindly took notes during my talk,
so I’ll share them here.

Relationships
Contribution

Draw out people’s proud stories
Say: “That must have been really hard, wasn’t it?”
→ This opens pride, and they begin to share their success stories.

Secure one slot / one frame.

Workload
Performance per unit of time.
It’s not about length.

Black Engine: set goals, make plans
White Engine: fulfill through mission

The trunk, the core story
Just lightly touch the branches

Ultra-consciousness in Noh performance

Stories from Mongolia

Explanation of speaking style
Learn speaking itself!
Life is a presentation.

The hardest part is human relationships
Encountering many people’s values
Sustainability and automation of revenue

Don’t do things just to clash.

Facing one’s mission
“I want to raise the health standard through swimming”
— that intention leads to a gold medal
Different from winning a gold medal driven by approval-seeking

Not everyone singing karaoke debuts 😄
Find what that person truly wants from life.

Unrecognized values
Things misunderstood
Supporting understanding is our work.

Raise the human level
When people say,
“If you say it’s good, let me hear it,”
—that’s the best place to be.

To earn respect at a glance:
• Breadth of experience and knowledge
• Relationships with people

Tips for long-term relationships
Meet repeatedly, don’t let freshness fade
Create chances to meet
Build ways not to let connections break

Meet with respect
Meet with reverence
Take enough distance that the other person’s flaws disappear
A distance where you can say:
“I’m doing this next—will you help me?”

Fixed ideas
Negative images
We work to convey things to people who don’t know yet
So objections arise
Handling objections is simply Q&A.

Kyon-kyon,
thank you very much!
