This morning,
I had my hair cut by Yuu-san.
While I was laughing, saying, “I’ve gained weight!”
Yuu-san suddenly asked me this:
“It’s fine to eat, but… are you eating because you really want to?”
“Yeah. I want to eat more,” I replied.
“If you want to eat, then you should.
But before you do, just ask yourself this one thing:
Is it your body that’s asking for it?”
“Is my body really craving it?”
Wow!
1. The Origin of My Experience and the “Magic of Gratitude”
My mother taught me: “Focus on what you’re blessed with, and be grateful.”
That one phrase shaped my entire life and set me on the journey of exploring The Gratitude Effect.
2. The Essence of Gratitude and the Laws of the Universe
If we cannot feel gratitude for past events, it is because we haven’t faced them deeply.
The universe runs on the laws of harmony and balance—opposites always exist as pairs.
True gratitude naturally arises when we recognize this order and harmony.
3. A Universal Human Wish
When asked, “If you had only 24 hours left to live, what would you say?”
People around the world answer: “Thank you. I love you.”
All human beings wish to be loved and appreciated just as they are.
Gratitude and love are the essence of human existence.
4. The Practice and Realization of Gratitude
Gratitude is both a sense of thankfulness and the recognition of blessings,
born when desires or expectations align with reality.
But superficial gratitude for only “convenient” events is not enough.
When we reach deep gratitude, tears flow, and we realize that praise and criticism always coexist.
5. The Mechanism of Lack and Growth
Humans feel “lack” in certain areas of life, and through that lack, they grow.
This pursuit of growth expands across the seven domains: spirituality, work, money, family, health, and more.
Ultimately, the only thing that truly fulfills the soul is gratitude and love.
6. Bias, Attachment, and the Absence of Gratitude
Being infatuated with someone means underestimating yourself and idealizing the other.
Criticizing or comparing others is also proof of losing gratitude.
True gratitude is accepting things as they are, which leads to unconditional love.
7. Life’s Turning Point and Mission
At 17, a near-death experience revealed my mission—to share love and healing with the world as a teacher and philosopher.
For 34 years since, I have recorded gratitude daily without fail.
I came to understand that every event contains both support and challenge.
8. The Reality of Gratitude’s Magic
Gratitude heals fear and guilt and brings miracles into life.
Stress reactions are simply signs of forgotten gratitude—feedback for awakening.
Gratitude aligns self-transformation with the order of the universe.
9. The Final Lesson
Every person embodies all aspects—good and bad, superior and inferior.
The parts we try to erase are the very qualities we need to embrace.
The fact that something exists is proof of its necessity.
Gratitude for this truth is the key to experiencing the magic.
In Summary
1. Gratitude is a state of recognizing the order and balance of the universe.
2. Not shallow thankfulness, but the acceptance of everything—including opposites.
3. Gratitude heals fear and scarcity, opening the door to love and infinite possibility.
4. Acknowledging all of yourself and being grateful just as you are—that is the practice of the Magic of Gratitude.

In the end, everything balances out—it’s all neutral.
That’s why:
Accept the good, and give thanks.
Accept the bad, too.
Because in the end....it's all just evened out.
With all of this, it's only 3800 yen!
Just how many guest are there?!
22!
It's cheaper than 200 yen per person?

The Chemistry Between Tetsushi Yamaguchi and Yoshihiro Terai
I can’t wait to see what exciting things might come out of this encounter.
I learned about the history that Tetsushi Yamaguchi has experienced,
and the landscape he is walking in right now.
Absolutely electrifying.
Truly, so amazing.
Tetsushi Yamaguchi’s Management Philosophy
Choosing the right field: Sensing the flow of the times and competing on new ground.
Commitment to decisions and execution: Taking full responsibility for the chosen path and staying consistent.
Empathy for people: Drawing out people’s power through intrinsic rather than extrinsic motivation.
Refreshing the vision: Never settling for the status quo, always painting a new horizon.
Valuing the unseen: Placing importance on non-cognitive skills such as emotion and self-control.
Self-renewal and harmony: Continually refining oneself while nurturing a spirit of walking together.
Yoshihiro Terai’s “Philosophy”
Passion first: Trusting passionate creators and making their enthusiasm the driving force behind projects.
Respect for creators: Minimizing intervention in the creative process, ensuring freedom and autonomy.
Intuition for “fun”: Believing in one’s sensitivity and letting “this feels interesting” be the guide for creation.
Trust-first fundraising: Valuing trust with investors and advancing projects with sincerity.
