Mahaji’s Teachings (Simple Summary)

1. Our Usual State
We often get distracted by events around us or by the flood of information on our phones.
But in truth, it’s more important to direct awareness toward the unchanging essence (reality) rather than the outer world.

2. Understanding Through Examples

  • When the sun shines brightly, we can’t see the moon → but the moon hasn’t disappeared.

  • When you’re absorbed in a video, you don’t notice the hum of the refrigerator → the sound is there, but your attention isn’t.
👉 Consciousness depends on where we shine the spotlight of awareness.

3. The Mind and Body Move Naturally
Digestion and heartbeat continue without our instruction.
Thoughts and emotions also arise on their own.

We are the awareness observing what arises.

4. Avoid Misunderstanding
This doesn’t mean “doing nothing” or being lazy.
It means letting go of overthinking and the urge to control.
When needed, action will arise naturally.

5. How to Practice

  • Observe the breath: Notice it continues effortlessly.

  • Observe thoughts: See them as arising on their own, not created by “you.”

  • Observe emotions: Anger or anxiety are simply “visitors.” Watch them and let them pass.

6. Applying in Daily Life

  • Train delayed → Simply notice, “Delay is happening.”

  • Feeling anxious before a deadline → Observe the unease in your chest, then take one action (make a call, draft a document).

  • Anger at family → Notice the heat in your body, breathe, then choose words if needed.

    7. Stop “Chasing”

    • Worries about the future (What if I get sick?)

    • Regrets about the past (If only I hadn’t said that…)

    • Concerns in the moment (What do they think of me?)
👉 Stop tracking these. Just take the actions that are truly needed.

    8. The Sense of Stillness
Like a windless lake or the quiet after turning off the TV’s static.
It’s simply the awareness: “I exist.”
Resting here calms the heart, while allowing action when it is truly needed.

    9. A Small Practice

    • Take one deep breath.

    • Ask yourself: “Is there any immediate danger I must respond to right now?”

    • If not, simply savor the state of just being.

If You’re Wondering Why Money Keeps Slipping Away—Read This! “Money Switch: 50 Rules to Dramatically Transform the Flow of Money”

Key Points — A Step-by-Step Theoretical Digest

  • 0. The Problem (Misdirected Premise)
Most people think: “No money → No dreams.”
This book flips it: “No dreams (intention/direction) → No flow of money.”
Even in times of inflation and wage stagnation, the flow of money can be changed through your subconscious mind and action design.

    1. Core Hypothesis (Mechanism)
Money flow = Subconscious mind × Concrete actions.
When the subconscious is given direction (purpose + image), your attention, choices, and behaviors shift—changing how you receive opportunities.

    2. Key Concept #1: Giver vs. Taker

    • Giver: Offers value to others/society without expecting return.
Flow: Trust builds → Information/opportunities flow in → More value exchange → Income circulates.

    • Taker: Prioritizes own gain.
Flow: Short-term benefit → Trust erodes → Information shuts off → Opportunities shrink → Long-term failure.

    Practical micro-gives (no money needed):
Offer a kind word to someone struggling, pick up trash, give up your place in line.

3. Key Concept #2 : 4 Steps to Harness the Subconscious

  1. Clarify the goal — Define with numbers + deadline (e.g., “Annual income ¥6M by year-end”).

  2. Create vivid imagery — Imagine daily life, emotions, and environment in detail; repeat daily.

  3. Act — Ask: “What would my ideal self do now?” Start with the smallest step.

  4. Prepare for opportunity — Build learning, skills, networks, and keep selective attention open with an attitude like “I might meet the goddess today.”

4. Key Concept #3: The Dream Notebook (Implementation Protocol)
Purpose: To put dreams into words and connect them with daily action—a battle plan.

Steps:

  • Write 10 dreams, desires, or problems to solve (review morning/night).

  • Only describe the “after” state (don’t think about how).

  • List 5 immediate actions (e.g., read one page, look up one item).

  • Execute → Check → Savor the achievement → Add new ideas.

  • Reframe new encounters/events as potential chances and step forward.

5. Handling Objections (Cognitive Reframe)

  • “I can’t give because I don’t have money.” → Start with free giving. It sparks trust and opportunities.

  • “Attraction sounds dubious.” → This book is about image × action design. Not “waiting passively,” but changing attention and action.

6. Start in 15 Minutes (Reproducible Steps)

  1. Open a notebook, list 10 dreams.

  2. Pick one, describe the realized state in 5–7 lines.

  3. Write 5 actions you can do now (5–10 min).

  4. Execute one today, check it off.

  5. Do one free act of giving.

7. Summary Flow (As a Chart)

Give → Build trust → Define goals with numbers & deadlines → Repeat vivid images daily → Stack micro-actions → Expand receptivity via learning & networks → Catch the ball (opportunity) when it comes.

Conclusion:
Clarify your dream (direction). Move the subconscious with vivid images. Ground it in giving and small actions.
That is the practical method to change the flow of money.

In the end, it’s about “accumulating virtue.”
And always asking yourself:
👉 “What would my ideal self do now?”
