If you're from a certain generation,
you will certainly know about
"Super Magician" Mr. Merrick
who was also a well-known figure on TV.

The start of his career was a surprising one.

He started off as a demonstration salesperson at a department store for magic goods. 


Having said that, magic goods are in no way a daily necessity that is easy to sell.

A great majority of the customers who stopped were full of "banter."

Day of 0 sales continued and putting him with his back agains the wall. 

At such a time, Mr. Merrick meets a certain woman customer. 

This woman who claimed to usually work as a "insurance saleswoman" taught him.

"It's not going well because you're trying to sell magic goods. 

You have the sell the dream of magic. 
It's an imagination. 

Help them to imagine themselves showing off the magic 
and making those watching happy."

This was eye-opening advice for Mr. Merrick. 

It was true that there weren't that many people who started off thinking "I want to do magic tricks"

However ・・・

□ I want to have something that will entertain people at the year end party 

□ I want those of the opposite sex to be interested in me 

□ I want to have something to catch everyone's attention 


□ I want to have a hobby to be able to write on my resume 


∴‥∵‥∴‥∵‥∴

There were many people like that.

From there, Mr. Merrick

drew out the needs of each person before his eyes, 
and established his own talk that helped them to imagine their own exciting future. 

When one person is drawn into something interesting,
it attracts many others.

This skill was to be very useful in times to come.

After his life as a demonstration salesperson,
Mr. Merrick started up his own Magic specialty shop.

Through the connections made there, it gave him the opportunity to perform on stage at night clubs and lounges.


Want came into handy there was his skill of 
focusing on "helping the person in front of him enjoy"


The couples who came to enjoy the night view and conversation are not watching the stage show.

So from there, Mr. Merrick would get down from the stage, and go around to the customers tables performing magic.

This became extremely popular.

Eventually, he was requested for celebrities and member only clubs
and that's where he also became popular on television.

Isn't that interesting?

We are able to imagine big dreams,
but sometimes have a hard time grasping for a chance at it.

But there is no need to worry.


"Truly place importance on the person right in front of you" 

If you can do this, that will be the entrance place to an
unbelievable future.

If you the value the one person right in front of you,
the future will open up to you.
