4 differences and characteristics to remember


The millennial generation that are now 25～34 years old, are those who have seen the rise of search engines in the 2000's, along with mobile connectivity and instant messaging and can be considered the digital pioneers. 

Generation Z. who are now 16～24 are a genuine digital native generation. In the digital world they were raised in, high speed internet, smartphones, video on demand, (VOD), and multiple gaming machines, and the existence of SNS already existed. 

Gen. Z are "global citizens with a fluid identity" "people who aren't stuck on the existing rules" "tech native" SNS, technology and "online bullying". 

Compared to the millennial generation, Gen Z hav a stronger tendency to exchange opinions about social issues. 

One-third of Gen. Z believe strongly in the equality of the human race. 

One of the characteristics of the millennials is that there are many who are optimistic about the future. Gen. Z on the other hand, have a more realistic perspective. 

The millennial generation changed the definition of "business casual"  in the work place, but gen Z is bringing the next evolvement to the fashion industry. 



Leading the way for new consumption ・"Diversity" and "Inclusion" grabs at the heart of generation Z. 

Inclusion, sees the differences of each individual employee as highly valuable and creates an environment that as an organization welcomes the individual skills, abilities, experiences, and strengths of the individual and maximizes on it.  

A direct translation of diversity would be "diverse" and its used in corporations as diverse management. It points to a management initiative using the diversity in gender, race, nationality religion, age, education and work experience to connect it to corporate competitiveness.
