Yokohama Arena was a time when everyone connected all at once, like Wi-Fi, and downloaded something extraordinary.

Ten thousand people in a frenzy.

So many friends gathered from all over the country!

With no reasons, no maneuvering, no reservations, everyone became one, hands wide open!

Congratulations on the award~~

Fion, what a guy!

It was a time when the mechanism for becoming free landed not as words, but deep in the gut.

Afterward, at Kaoru Nakajima's place.

One delicious dish after another...

The conversation, the drinks, the energy — all of it was incredible!

Thank you so much!

Tomorrow is the costume fitting and the cast meeting!

The movie is moving forward, closer and closer to the start of shooting~~~

1. Introduction: Where AI Stands “Now,” and Its Use in Politics

  • Background: AI holds power great enough to change not only education and the economy, but a nation's security and diplomacy as well [00:46]。

  • Practical Use (AI as a Private Tutor): What matters is not simply having it read textbooks, but having AI and simulators actually used and experienced in the political arena — in briefings for the Prime Minister, for example [01:10]。

2. Differences in AI Development Between the U.S. and China

Here is what Anno-san saw for himself on the ground in each country, the U.S. and China.

  • The U.S. (Software — the Brain Side):

    • They have entered the final sprint toward realizing “AGI (Artificial General Intelligence),” an intelligence that surpasses human beings [02:45]。

    • The pace of development is extremely fast, and there's an end-game atmosphere in the air [02:55]。

  • China (Hardware — the Body Side):

    • In AI's brain itself (LLMs), they are chasing the U.S. at a furious pace [03:06]。

    • On the other hand, in the technology of actually putting “physical AI” (humanoid robots) — AI with bodies — to work in society, China leads the world [03:21]。

3. The Future Economy and Social Structure AI Will Bring

As AI evolves further, how will our lives and our economy change?

  • A New Economic Sphere Called “AI to AI”:

    • Until now, the basis of the economy has been “humans buying and consuming things” [04:45]。

    • Going forward, however, a new kind of economic exchange that never passes through humans — “AI selling services to, and buying them from, other AI (AI to AI)” — may grow very large [02:00]。

  • Growth and Abundance for the Whole World:

    • A world may be coming in which AI's power produces goods and services in vast quantities and prices fall [05:37]。

    • Even if human purchasing power declines, the economy between AIs will grow so much that society as a whole is expected to keep developing [52:17]。

Video → [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJH1-7ymNC4]。

Programming and 3D design, which used to demand “difficult study only specialists could do,”have entered an era where anyone can do them easily, just by telling the AI in words what they want to make

① What Is “GPT-6 Astra”?

  • How It Differs From Previous AI: The AI's performance has been powered up further, and it is now newly available in ChatGPT and compatible apps (such as Cursor) [01:16]。

  • What's Amazing About It: Even without difficult specialized knowledge, it will carry out complex computer work for you from instructions given in plain words [00:35]。

② Integration With the Specialized Software “Blender”

  • Background: “Blender” is specialized software for creating 3D (three-dimensional) models [00:22]. Normally, mastering it takes years of study and a high level of skill.

  • What Changed: But by combining it with this new capability (GPT-6 Astra),simply asking, in natural language, “Make me a near-future motorcycle”is now enough for the AI to automatically build a realistic 3D model [00:30]。

③ Taking It Further: Turning What You Made Into a Game

  • What Else It Can Do: Not just building a 3D model — you can then tell the AI, “Make a game where I can drive the motorcycle you just made” [03:36]。

  • The Result: The AI writes the program automatically, and a game where you can actually drive the motorcycle you made is finished [03:48]. It even reproduces the physics of what happens when the motorcycles collide [04:11]。

④ Other Examples of Use

  • Beyond 3D modeling and games, you can easily create things like a “manga-making app and viewer” just by giving instructions [33:22]。

In Summary (What Makes This So Amazing?)

Programming and 3D design, which until now demanded “difficult study only specialists could do,”have entered an era where anyone can do them easily, just by telling the AI in words what they want to make — that is what this video explains, demonstrations included [00:54]。

AI has come to handle external tools and OS operations as deftly as a human, and cleared unknown, rule-free problems with high accuracy — which means thata de facto AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) has finally become reality. That's what this is.

Sam Altman and the others at OpenAI claim that with this achievement, humanity has attained AGI

The video “OpenAI's New Model Has Surpassed Humans!? This Is the Birth of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)...”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jC1jN2gWFyU) — here is a theoretical, step-by-step summary of its contents.

  • OpenAI's New Model Release and Its High Scores

    • OpenAI's new model “GPT-6 ASTRA” has been released, and it recorded a very high score on a test that has it solve games it has never seen (the ARC-AGI 3 test) [00:02]。

    • The results differ by mode: 62.7% in standard mode, and an accuracy of 99.9% in provider-adapter mode [00:26]。

  • How the Test Modes Work, and How They Differ

    • Standard Mode: A mode in which the problems are solved by the AI model alone, using no external tools or notes whatsoever [00:43]. It's equivalent to a flesh-and-blood human solving hard problems purely from memory, inside their own head [01:18], and the score was 62.7% [00:38]。

    • Provider-Adapter Mode: A mode in which results are reached using external tools (calculation via Python programs and the like) and notes alongside — just as a human would when solving a difficult math problem [00:54]. In this mode it achieved a score of 99.9% [00:32]。

  • Views on Whether AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) Has Been Achieved

    • Sam Altman and the others at OpenAI claim that with this achievement, humanity has attained AGI [01:38]。

    • Since humans themselves don't memorize every step of a calculation in their heads either, the analysis goes, a model that can produce results by making appropriate use of external tools can be said to have effectively achieved AGI [01:54]。

  • The Leap Beyond Conventional Generative AI, and Why It Matters

    • This test is extraordinarily difficult: with no rulebook and no advance explanation, the model has to work out the definition of the rules and the solution through trial and error [02:17]。

    • Generative AI has been criticized as nothing more than “a fill-in-the-blank drill that statistically predicts the next word,” but this model can now understand and judge for itself problems it knows nothing about, a computer's UI/UX, and even operations at the OS level [02:41]。

    • Security limits aside, you could say a powerful agent has been born — one that can handle anything autonomously on an OS, just as a human would [03:25]。

  1. Doubts About AI's Evolution, and the Conventional View [00:00]

    • Among general users, AI up to now has only been put to work on things like drafting emails or looking up particular information, and a doubt lingers: “even if a new model comes out, won't it be much the same?”

  2. How Fundamentally Different the New Model Is [00:05]

    • In response: the new model is “something else entirely” from what came before, and has reached a level where its value is dramatically different even for ordinary people with no specialized knowledge.

  3. The Biggest Change for Ordinary People, and Its Use Cases [00:19]

    • Even an ordinary, non-engineer, humanities-background user can, if they have an idea for something they want to make, use this model to achievethe creation of complex, highly polished software.

  4. A Transformation of the Old Process [00:45]

    • Until now, when making a game, doing DIY electronics work, or running a scientific research simulation, users had to sit glued to a desk building prototypes, compiling documentation, writing code, and checking that it ran — work demanding an enormous amount of effort [00:49]. With the arrival of the new model, there is hope of breaking free from that inefficient old workflow [00:56]。

“Let’s widen our field of view.”
This phrase gets used in all sorts of contexts.

In movement and physical expression,
fixing your gaze on one point makes the body tense,
so take in the whole through your peripheral vision.

Look not with the eye that stares,
but with the eye that perceives.

In work and in creative practice too,
if you are trapped in a single viewpoint,
no new solutions or ideas will come.
So grasp things from a wide perspective.

Both in the sense of physical sight
and in the sense of how we take in information,
widening the field of view matters —
that claim is a common one.

“Yes, that sounds about right”
— it’s the kind of claim the head accepts easily.

But were you actually able to widen your field of view, your way of taking things in?
Asked that, I suspect most people would find it difficult.

Changing your “interpretation” or the “meaning” you assign to something, in your head,
in that very moment,
is not hard,

but this is something like a momentary magic trick,
and it tends to stop at the level of
sophistry, evasion, papering over.
(Though we rarely notice it.)

One reason for this is “the body’s response.”

When the state of the body (the spine) changes,
the way the five senses receive things, and how they are interpreted,
change unconsciously,
and change to a degree that is genuinely interesting.

Conversely, even if you transform the “interpretation” and the “meaning”
in your head,
the state of the body takes priority,
and your response to the phenomenon barely changes at all.

This time, the state of the spine,
“vision,” and the unconscious physical expression
that comes with it —
this relationship,
I’ll show you by filming what the actual change looks like 😊

Now taking bookings for a session.

Correct posture, correct ways of moving —
you understand them in theory,
but is your body really
in that ideal state?

The body is not built to be operated consciously;
it is designed to work well by flowing naturally.

Improving performance.
Resolving problems.
In any context,

the seemingly admirable motive of
“let’s do it correctly”
is in fact distrust of, and an attack on, your own body.

Rather than “doing it correctly,”
it is when you are “as you are, natural”
that the body, and things in general, go well.

Now taking bookings for a session.

You don’t know what correct posture is.
You don’t know the correct way to walk or move.
You understand the theory but can’t reproduce it.
You repeat it and nothing changes.

“The correct such-and-such” —
methodologies are everywhere,

but however much you imitate a correct answer that exists outside you,
the fact is it doesn’t fit your body,
the only one of its kind in the world.

The problem begins at the moment you imitate “the correct such-and-such,”

so why not start by grasping
the state of your own body accurately?

“The answer is inside you” —
when you’re given an abstraction like that,
it doesn’t land at all,
and I’m well aware of that.

Even so, the answer exists nowhere but inside you,
and even if you’re no master,
drawing it out is possible.

Start with your own state
(the condition of your spine, its habits).
Please try grasping it carefully 😊

So happy——

[Sunday, September 6th, 12:00 — On Air] 🎙️

“LiFE: The Fourth Place”

A twenty-year-old dream starts moving!

〜Takumi Yamazaki’s challenge to become a “film director”〜

Guest: Takumi Yamazaki

DJs: Daisuke Sato & Naoki Okada

A twenty-year-old dream starts moving ❤️‍🔥

“Someday I want to be a film director!”

It’s been about twenty years since he first started thinking that.

Takumi Yamazaki has realized dream after dream — sending bestseller after bestseller out into the world, holding a solo exhibition in New York, and more.

And now, at sixty-one, the dream of being a “film director” that he has held in his chest all these years is finally becoming real ✨

The title of the film is

“The Switch for Getting Started.”

On crowdfunding,

support came in from around 2,000 people, passing 80 million yen 🔥

But Takumi says:

“I was absolutely terrified…”

Even someone who has accomplished so much finds a challenge toward a new dream frightening.

And still, he takes the step.

In this broadcast, he talked at length about:

・Why he was able to hold on to the dream of directing for twenty years

・What it means to take on a new dream from the age of sixty-one

・The talent of yours that lies sleeping inside “the things that irritate you”

・The grown-up common sense that whittles dreams away

・Behind the scenes of the crowdfunding that passed 80 million yen

・The feelings he poured into the film “The Switch for Getting Started”

— and plenty more 😊😊😊

There was one line that stayed with me above all.

“What opens the door isn’t talent. It’s your feeling. 🥺”

Age has nothing to do with it.

This moment, right now, is the youngest you will ever be in your life!

If you have a dream you’ve forgotten.

If you have a dream you were about to give up on.

If time has been slipping by while you think “someday I’ll do it.”

Please listen.

In August we held

“A Thorough Explanation of How to Set W2.”

I talked about setting the future you truly want —

“W2 = the world you want to become.”

That was the subject.

And this time——

on to the step beyond it.

“Once you’ve set your W2, how do you actually use it?”

Using the Quantum Journal,

how do you put it into practice in daily life?

This time it is precisely

“How to Use the Quantum Journal — Practical Edition.”

Of course for those who learned how to set W2 at the August talk, but also for anyone thinking:

“I’ve set my W2, but what do I do after that?”

“I want to use the journal more effectively.”

“I don’t want to just write and stop — I want to bring it into daily life.”

This is content I very much want those people to join for.

Not just understanding it in your head, but actually

“writing,” “using,” “acting.”

How do you connect your W2

to your daily reality?

Takumi Yamazaki

will tell you directly how to use

the Quantum Journal concretely.

In the second half of the talk there will be time for questions.

*Healing people’s hearts with rice balls

Aouma Cooking, August 2008 issue: Hatsume Sato of Mori no Isukia and her “omusubi”

1. The background of “Mori no Isukia” and Hatsume Sato

  • Feeling for her hometown, and building a base there

    • Out of her husband’s teaching and her own strong conviction, Hatsume Sato chose to stay in her hometown rather than go to the city [[00:37]].

    • With the belief that she wanted to “call in people who heal” in her hometown, she opened “Mori no Isukia” in Aomori [[01:20]].

  • The origin of the name “Mori no Isukia” and its role

    • The name comes from a volcano in southern Italy and the story attached to Ischia — a place where people carrying burdens of the heart that nothing can relieve are healed [[01:47]].

    • Those who visit are healed in body and mind by the food and the space Hatsume prepares with all her heart, and they go home with new energy [[02:08]].

2. Hatsume Sato’s way of making “omusubi,” and the thinking behind it

  • Preparation and packing the rice[[02:16]]

    • Before packing the rice into the mold, dampen the wooden mold with a wet cloth (dry wood absorbs the heat and makes the rice stick) [[02:18]].

    • Shave the rice into the mold, bury an umeboshi in the middle, and level it off [[02:50]].

  • The secret of salting and shaping[[03:30]]

    • Wring the water from the wet cloth, take salt with three fingers, and work it thoroughly into both hands [[03:36]].

    • Press gently, with “just enough pressure that every single grain of rice can still breathe.” The point is not to squeeze too hard [[03:54]].

    • The firmness when shaped should be just enough not to stick to your hands — a little firmer than ordinary rice [[04:08]].

  • How to cut and wrap the nori[[04:15]]

    • Lay the nori on a flat surface and cut it neatly in half [[05:15]].

    • Fold about 2cm of the edge and trim it off so it becomes a square (one sheet makes two) [[05:47]].

    • The trimmed-off scraps of nori are used without waste — simmered into tsukudani, for instance [[06:30]].

    • Place the nori on the rice ball, shape it, and press it so it settles in properly [[04:24]].

3. The cultural and international significance of omusubi

  • Its place as Japanese culture

    • Japan has long been an agricultural country — the land of abundant rice — and the omusubi itself, shaped by hand, is described as one important part of Japanese culture [[06:51]].

  • Spreading at home and abroad, and healing people

    • Through omusubi-making activities overseas (in America, Singapore and elsewhere), it has been enormously well received by people from other countries and from many different backgrounds [[07:21]].

    • The very act of shaping a rice ball skillfully and deliciouslyhas the power to comfort people, to soften them, to make them feel rich in spirit — that is how it concludes [[08:06]].
