We moved through States 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5,
and at last, here are States 6 and 7.

At the end, I've summarized States 1-7

↓↓↓

State 6 is Devotion

Core Theme

Devotion

= A way of living in which one continues to practice with intention and  love, regardless of emotions, circumstances or outcome.

① What Is Devotion

Devotion is :

  • A state where an inner Being naturally and consistently expresses itself
as outer Doing, where inner work becomes outer life.

  • Not hustle

  • Not self-sacrifice or self-erasure

  • Not emotional motivation

Its essence:

  • It is continuous application.

  • Practice that does not negotiate with moods or conditions

  • Disciplined love

*Quiet steady action that translates who you are into what you do.

You do what needs to be done.

👉
Devotion reveals itself precisely when things are boring, painful, inconvenient,
or unrewarding—
that is when devotion shows up.

② How Devotion Relates to the Other Sacred States

The 6 states, clarified:

    1.  Knowingness

Knowing who you are and why you are here

    2.    Faith

Trusting life even when outcomes are uncertain

    3.    Love

You share your power and coherence with others.

    4.    Stillness

You listen to guidance and subtle signals

    5.    Non-Attachment

     You hold goals without gripping

    6.   Devotion

You live consciously with deliberate intent.

👉
Without devotion, freedom becomes drifting.
Devotion gives energy and  direction to what matters.

③ What Devotion Actually Is

    •    Living with deliberate intent.

        Serving something larger than ego

    •    Keeping promises to life.

    •    Not love an emotion but applied love over time.

Important:

Devotion is not emotion--it is practice.

④ Ancient perspective on devotion

    •    Ancient cultures did not rely on "motivation."

    •    They relied on:

    •    Identity

    •   Ritual

    •   Repetition

    •    Structure

👉Devotion was embedded into daily life.

They weren't more disciplined than us. They simply didn't ask or act based on

"How do I feel today?" They lived based on their devotion, rituals and roles.

⑤ Devotion to Craft

Devotion looks like:

    •  The writer who writes despite writers block

    •    The artist practicing when no one is watching.

    •    The doctor, soldier or craftsperson who shows up every day.

👉

Devotion is professional presence and identity, not inspiration.

⑥ Story that Reveals the Essence (Al Capone's Lawyer, Easy Eddy)

  • A choice made to protect “fatherhood values,” even at the cost of life

  • Devotion as commitment to one’s identity

  • That commitment becomes legacy, passed through generations

👉
Devotion outlives the individual.

⑦ Ambition vs. Devotion

    •    Ambition asks "What do I gain?"

    •   Devotion asks: "What is worthy of my continued commitment?"

Discipline is:

    •    Not a punishment

    •   The natural result of devotion applied consistently

⑧ Devotion as a Habit

  • Habits = ritualized devotion

  • A calendar reveals what a person is devoted to

  • What you repeat shapes who you become

👉
When devotion is present, all other states are amplified.

⑨ Practical Framework:RISEN

5 lenses to bring devotion into daily life.

R — Ritual over Motivation

Motivation is unreliable.

Ritual is unstoppable

Same time, same place.

Non-negotiables reduce decision fatigue.

I — Identity Before  Behavior
Anchor in who you are, not what you do

Identity outperforms goals and processes.

You become what you practice.

S — Service over Self
The self alone is too small to sustain devotion.

Ask: Who benefits if I stay consistent?

Turn habit into an offering.

E — Embodiment
Anchor habits in the body.

Reduce reliance on memory and will power.

N — Non-Attachment to Results
Have you released fixation on outcomes?

The practice itself is sacred. Monks pray without expecting reward. Authors write for the writing itself.

👉Devotion begins when outcome stops being the boss.

Use RISEN to audit anything you want to practice or make habitual.

⑩ Devotion and Non-Attachment

  • Attachment to results collapses devotion

  • Devotion is not “for results,” but for love in action

  • Prayer, service, and small daily acts are all devotion

⑪ Define success by

Did I show up today?

  • Mood doesn’t matter

  • Circumstances don’t matter

  • Detach from metrics.

Did you do what you said you would do—today?

⑫ Final Conclusion

    •    Devotion is not religion or self-sacrifice.

    •   Devotion is love practiced over time.

    •    When you stop negotiating with yourself, life stops negotiating with you

One essential line:

Devotion makes us stronger because it removes hesitation and negotiation.

Receptivity

1. The Big Picture: Receptivity as the Completion of the Seven States

  • This body of teaching works with Seven Sacred States.

  • The final realization and completion of these states is : Receptivity.

  • Receptivity integrates all previous states—Knowing, Faith, Love, Stillness, Non-Attachment, Devotion—and allows them to fully function in reality.

Receptivity is not another technique. It is the state that allows everything else to land.

2. Definition:What Receptivity Actually Is

Receptivity The capacity to receive what life is already trying to give you.

Because this is often misunderstood, the seminar clearly defines
what receptivity is not.

2-1. What Receptivity is Not

Receptivity is not:

  • Waiting

  • Wishing

  • Hoping while standing by

  • Trying harder (effort amplification)

  • Sitting back and doing nothing (passivity)

2-2. リセプティビティの核心(3点セット)

    •    要求のないオープンさ(要求・条件・執着がない開放性)

    •    コントロールしない準備状態(受け取る準備はあるが、操ろうとしない)

    •    人生が最善の形で応答することを許可する在り方

2-2. The Core of Receptivity (The Three Essentials)

Receptivity is made of three inseparable qualities:

  • Openness without demand
(No conditions, no requirements, no grasping)

  • Readiness without control
(Prepared to receive, without trying to manipulate outcomes)

  • Permission for life to respond in its best form

3. The Opposite:It is the Opposite of Hustle Culture

    •    Receptivity lives on the opposite side of “work harder,” “push through,” and “force the door open.”

    •   The teaching is not that effort is bad. It is that effort becomes a block when it unconsciously closes the receiving channel.

In other words:
Sometimes effort itself prevents reception.

When that block is released, Receptivity naturally appears.

Takumi Yamazaki understood and summarized this insight as:
“Not pressing the accelerator—but releasing the brake.”

4. Why Receptivity Matters: Without It, The other states become Limited or Distorted

Without Receptivity, even well-developed states can become limited or distorted.

4-1. How Receptivity Completes the Other States

    1.    Knowingness

    •   You know who you are and what you value--but without receptivity, you may refuse to embrace your highest version.

    2.    Faith

    •   You trust life--but without receptivity, you forget to ask for guidance and support. (you end up carrying everything alone.)

    3.    Love

    •    You give freely--but without receptivity, love turns into martyrdom and depletion.

    4.    Stillness

    •   You are peaceful--but without receptivity, what is due to you may never arrive. You can be still and poor, or still and abundant.

    5.    Non-attachment

    •  Without it, receptivity becomes craving. With it--receptivity becomes abundance--you know what you want, but you're not clinging because it's already on its way.

    6.    Devotion

    •    Without devotion, receptivity turns into entitlement. With devotion, receptivity is earned through consistent service and integrity.

Receptivity is the icing on the cake.

5. Receptivity in Practical Terms

The seminar breaks Receptivity into tangible elements:

  • Openness without urgency

  • Allowing without entitlement

  • Receiving without guilt

  • Letting life meet you halfway
    (not doing everything alone)

  • It is Active allowing, not passive waiting
    (consciously saying “yes”)

6. Two Common Manifestation Blocks

Two common blocks to being able to receive.

Block 1:Not believing you deserve what you want

  • Often rooted in childhood experiences
(e.g., “Wanting more hurts people I love”)

  • Wealth becomes unconsciously associated with danger or guilt

  • Result: business grows, but income plateaus—nothing truly lands

Release:
When this belief dissolves, expansion begins.

Self-Inquiry:

  • Do I fear becoming a leader?

  • Do I believe money corrupts people?

  • Do I think success changes relationships?

Block 2:The "EIther/Or" Lie

  • Examples:

    • If I make money, I must sacrifice health

    • If I choose ease, business will suffer

  • Reality collapses into false binary choices

Shift:
Release the belief that business must be heavy and painful.
Move toward Effortless Effort—clarity powered by intelligence, not struggle.

7. Desire Reframed: Removing Resistance, Not Creating Want

    •    Drawing from attraction teachings (e.g., Esther Hicks):

  • The soul comes to experience contrast

  • Contrast naturally generates desire

  • Humans are already emitting desire

  • The work is not creating desire, but removing resistance

Receptivity is therefore:

The state that allows desire to safely land.

8. Judgement Blocks Abundance

    •  Example: Seeing wealthy people and feeling it is “scary,” “dirty,” “vulgar”

That judgment becomes rejection energy

Principle: What you judge, avoids you.

Difference Between Greed and Receptivity

Greed arises when Receptivity is Disconnected from Love.

  • Receptivity without love becomes greed

  • Receptivity with love becomes circulation

  • The Seven States must function as a set.

    No state works in isolation.

9. Practice: Stepping into Abundance. Setting Clear Parameters.

Not for luxury—but for identity alignment.

Examples:

  • Business class travel

  • Five-star hotels

This prepares the container before abundance arrives.

Suggested Money Allocation Model:

  • 55% living

  • 30% savings/investment

  • 5% giving

  • 10% luxury/play

That 10% signals: “I am prepared to receive.” It allocates space for expansion

10. Symbol of Receptivity: The Cup )

  • Receptivity is symbolized by a cup

  • An empty cup cannot pour or receive

Conclusion:

  • Receptivity is not wanting more

  • It is allowing yourself to receive more. You cannot fill a cup you refuse to hold out.

11. Final Integration: The Flow of the 7 States

  1. You know who you are (Knowingness)

  2. You Trust life  (Faith)

  3. You Love generously  (Love)

  4. You listen deeply (Stillness)

  5. You release grip (Non-Attachment)

  6. You show up consistently (Devotion)

  7. Finally—You allow  yourself  to receive (Receptivity)

→Receptivity completes the cycle.

Here is a Summary of States 1-7

↓↓↓

Core Theme:Upgrading from the Old OS to the New OS (Reality Bending)

    •  The world does not give you "what you want", rather it reflects back to you who you are.

    •   Old OS:Lack → Achieving goals(Chasing goals, hustling and pushing with effort)

    •   New OS:Wholeness →Reality Creation(resonance, state-as-frequency—when your state shifts now, reality reorganizes from the “future side”)

    •    Resonance over Attraction:When your current "state" changes, reality reorganizes itself to meet you.

Integrated Summary of State 1-7

1) Knowingness= Self-Recognition/ Knowing "Who you are" at a Cellular level

 Definition

  • Not arrogance—more like a quiet remembering of who you are.

  • When you know “I am worthy of this,” you stop needing to explain, negotiate, or prove.

Key Method: Lofty Questions

  • Not “How can I…?” but:
    “Why am I so ___?”

(e.g., Why am I so beautiful? / Why am I so blessed?)

When this new reality is asked as a question, the brain and behavior reorganize around that identity.

Point

  • Reality aligns not to your wants—but to your identity.

2) Faith)=Trusting LIfe/ Trusting in a Benevolent Universe

Definition

  • Choosing the posture: “Everything is happening for my highest good.”

  • Releasing control, loving uncertainty
    (victim mindset → participant mindset)

Logic (Where you place “proof”)

  • Placebo principle: belief can reshape perception and physiological response.

  • “Dating the Universe”: desperation and grip create resistance.

Point

  • 1 = Trust yourself

  • 2 = Trust life
When both are online, life stops being something you chase—
and becomes something that organizes around you.

Your phrase captures it perfectly: “Don’t chase. Just align.”

3) Love=Generate Love Instead of Getting it

 Definition

  • Love isn’t something you get from outside—it’s a state you generate from within
(a regulated nervous system = a “beautiful state”).

Effect

  • Your state transmits into the field—the room’s atmosphere and people’s responses change.

Key Insight

  • Release the inner tax (unconscious internal cost).
When friction drops, creation and results accelerate.

Practice

  • Loving-kindness meditation expanding outward:
    self → room → city → nation → Earth → Universe
= training your system to produce love as a frequency.

4) Stillness= The Place Where Clarity Emerges without Effort

Definition

  • Not emptiness or passivity—it’s the place where noise dissolves and clarity becomes effortless.

  • Stillness creates the receiving environment for intuition.

Tools (4 tracks mentioned)

  • Prayer / meditation

  • Breathwork

  • Neuro-training (regulating the nervous system with tools/devices)

  • Plant medicine (presented as part of the lecture context)

Point

  • Without stillness, intuition gets buried under noise.

5) Non-Attachment=Care Deeply Without Gripping

 Definition

  • Not indifference.
    It’s: “I hold intention—without gripping”

  • You stop living emotionally loyal to the past or future, and return energy to now.

Paradox

  • Strong attachment creates resistance and slows outcomes.

  • The fastest stance is:
“If it happens, amazing. If it doesn’t, I’m still okay.”

    That lightness speeds reality up.

Point

  • Like swimming with the river: adjust with the current—don’t fight it.

6) Devotion=Disciplined Love

Definition

  • Not hustle, not willpower, not self-sacrifice.
Devotion is consistent embodied practice of showing up—powered by intention and love.

  • Built on ritual, repetition, and structure—not motivation.

Essence

  • Without devotion, freedom becomes drifting.

  • With devotion, the other states gain direction and density.

One Standard

  • “Did I show up today?”

(Your RISEN framework fits perfectly as a devotion “implementation check.”)

7) Receptivity=Allowing Life's Gifts to Land

Definition

  • The capacity to receive what life is already trying to give you.

  • Not: waiting / wishing / pushing harder / doing nothing

  • But:
    openness without demand

    • readiness without control

    • permission for life to respond in its best form

Core Insight

  • As long as effort is unconsciously blocking the door, you can’t receive.

  • Receptivity is not passive—it is active permission (a deliberate “yes”).

Positioning

  • Receptivity is the completion state
the one that allows states 1–6 to cycle cleanly, without distortion.

The 1–7 Flow (One-Line Integrated Circuit)

1 Knowingness — I know who I am

2 Faith — I trust life (the world is on my side)

3 Love — I generate love as my frequency

4 Stillness — I return to silence and hear guidance

5 Non-Attachment — I intend, but I don’t grip

6 Devotion — I show up without negotiating with emotion or motivation.

7 Receptivity — I allow myself to receive; gifts land

The circuit completes—and reality reorganizes.

Closing Statement

The era of forcing reality open with effort is over.
When your Being aligns, reality edits itself.

The era of forcing reality open through effort is over.

The moment your being comes into alignment,

reality reorganizes itself.

How was this everyone?

These are some really deep insights!

Looking forward to the June event!

The magnitude of Dr. Imai's presence...

The magnitude of life.

The weight of life.

The miracle of life.

Thank you!

The volunteer staff all came together.
It was the moment a 1,200-person event truly came alive.

“Is happiness overflowing in your life?”
I paused and answered, “Hmm… I’m not sure.”

Then a friend said,
“Maybe you’re not distinguishing between happiness and joy.”

Joy may not be overflowing right now,
but happiness surely is.

Gratitude for being alive.
Gratitude for having this time.
Gratitude for friends and family.

Happiness is something we often realize
only after it’s gone.

I noticed that I had been equating joy with happiness—
overlooking the miraculous existence
that I had taken for granted, as if it were “normal.”

That miracle itself is happiness.

If joy is something extra—
a special bonus on top of that—
then hasn’t happiness already been overflowing all along?

This June,
why not join us and let happiness overflow from your body?

The Mie Festival--where Life Shines
