FOMO(Fear Of Missing Out)。
FOMO - the fear of missing out: Bobby Mook at TEDxUNC

Summary
↓↓↓
You’re happily reading a book in bed. Then you glance at social media— a video of friends partying—and suddenly a wave of anxiety and inferiority crashes over you.
That feeling is FOMO (Fear of Missing Out).
↓↓↓
At its core is the question: “Am I significant?”
The talk concludes with an important insight: FOMO isn’t something to eliminate—it’s a signal to use. Ask, “What is this fear trying to tell me?” Understand FOMO, and choose what truly makes you happy.

But My FOMO Is Different
For me, FOMO doesn’t come from social media.
It sounds more like this:
Is it really okay to be doing this right now?
Won’t I regret this later?
Isn’t there something else I should be doing—right now?
That fear makes me overpack my schedule.
That kind of anxiety keeps pushing me.
Before I know it,
my schedule is packed tight,
there’s no white space at all,
and although it feels like I’m “doing a lot,”
somehow, I’m never truly at ease.
This, too, is a very real form of FOMO.
FOMO isn't "Anxiety"--It's an Alarm
FOMO is often painted as the villain,
but I actually think it’s a very well-designed alarm.
It rings because:
“I want to achieve more”
“I want to use my potential”
“I want to fully live this life”
Those desires are the reason it goes off.
The real problem is this: the moment the alarm sounds, we try to do everything at once.
As a result:
We overpack our schedules
We feel guilty even when resting
The one move that truly matters becomes blurry
When FOMO takes control,
it feels like we’re moving forward—
but in reality, everything just gets scattered.
So I Decided to Do “○○” Instead
So recently, I made this decision:
👉 Not to add more things to do
👉 But to decide what to let go of—first
Decide on three things not to do today
Insert blank space before filling the schedule
Don’t try to do everything—choose the single move that matters most
* Can I really let things go?
* What am I aiming for, and what actually makes it happen?
Clarifying this might be
one of my most important subjects right now.
When FOMO shows up,
I ask myself this again:
Is this really an action
that brings me closer to my goal?
Or is it just something
I’m doing to fill my anxiety?
FOMO isn’t saying,
“Do more.”
I think it’s saying,
“Choose what’s essential.”
How to Live Well with FOMO
You don’t need to erase FOMO.
You can’t—it won’t disappear.
But you can translate it.
Restlessness → What is my true desire?
Overpacking → What am I afraid of?
Busyness → Which direction do I truly want to move toward?
For what I genuinely want to do—What is the minimum set of actions
that truly needs to be done?
Everything has already switched to a new world.
There are no more wrong answers.
The only question is—
have you noticed that the world has already changed?
Are you still living on an old version?
Love is not a feeling.
It’s a state of being.
Sharing a good mood= Love
Everything that shows up in front of you is a sign.
My speech yesterday・・・
I ran out of time and couldn't finish〜〜〜
