Have a goal that gets you excited. Use all your talents to the full. Don't get stuck on the result. Live (be) as if you've already done it.

Yesterday I was invited by Ryoji to Kyoto!
Thank you everyone in Kyoto.

Today I've excerpted from the book I like the most
"The Motivation Switch"

If you learn about how motivation works and how to work with it, you can heighten your "ability to know yourself".

That's the impression I got with today's Fuku selection.
↓↓

【The Motivation Switch】(excerpted from page 17)

"People who are always energetic,

and continue to accomplish great things,

"know how to work with themselves (their own hearts)."

They don't force motivation,

neither do they wait for motivation to come.
They simple know.....

at times like these, or when I feel like this,

they know how to get themselves motivated.

They have many "motivation switches"

Why I chose this
↓↓
"The Motivation Switch" is my favorite book among the books that Takumi has published, and is the one with the most memories for me.

・"Can't get motivated"
・"Can't stay motivated"
・"How can I get back yesterday's motivation?"

There are many people who have such concerns.

In fact, I am one of those people.

There are many answers written in "The Motivation Switch"

One of the answers there is "how to interact with your heart".

This book teaches you not only  "how to get motivated" or "how to stay motivated",

but actually about "what is motivation?" and one can learn the "system" of it, and how it works, and

"how to interact well with motivation"

Read the book, and don't only think about it, but at least put one of the things written in the book into action.

And by just changing your consciousness a little bit, you will be able to notice your own "motivation switch" that perhaps you weren't able to before.

Again, not just "motivation" but "how to communicate with yourself."

The book even goes further into the "how the brain works" and "how to handle your body".

The book that affected my life most, is this book "The Motivation Switch"

And with the "Motivation Switch Implementation seminar" you can also learn and implement as a set!!!

■ If you can quantify "best" you can give it your all
□■━━━━━━━━━━

"Give it your best"

These are commonly used words.

However, they are also words that are hard to know what to do with.

So what is the best way to communicate this?

There is an interesting experiment on this.

Organizational scientists Edwin Locke and Gary Latham
did the following research in 1970.

The target subjects were timber transporters.

They had one problem.

It was "poor work efficiency"

After research, it was discovered that they only

loaded the truck【60%】of its upper limit each time.

Even though it was brought to attention to "work more properly"

it was met with opposition.

So the research team proposed.

∴‥∵‥∴‥∵‥∴

"Let's try to load the truck to 【94%】of its limit every time"

∴‥∵‥∴‥∵‥∴

9 months later, they were loading close to【90%】of the limit.

The productivity of each transport had actually increased by 【34%】

What do you think?

There is no one who is not giving it their best.
But humans tend  more towards energy saving than expected.

They only get moving once required too

That's why it's important to give clear directions that are quantifiable.

Of course, its the same for yourself too.

If you can quantify what "best" is, it becomes easier to give it.

Thank you for reading.
