Shinto has no founder, no doctrine, and no central temple.
Its defining feature is an abstract “empty center”, allowing sacredness to emerge anywhere.
Take the Jichinsai (ground purification ceremony), for example:

**Even AKB48 can become “gods.” When enough devotion is projected, miracles happen—a new way of seeing religion.

**Truly potent sites are often unsettling sanctuaries—places even locals avoid.
