Yesterday, from the morning, a Zoom seminar with Aoki-san of the CITTA Notebook
The study of yoga philosophy runs deep!
↓↓↓
1. Controlling Emotions and Releasing Attachment (A Buddhist and Yogic Approach)
The essence of "forgiving": Carrying anger and attachment about what you cannot forgive is like walking with many heavy stones on your own back, and in the end it stops your own feet from moving. That is why, not for the other person's sake, you need to "forgive for your own sake (loosen up)."
Forgiving loosens you.
Separating thought from self: In Buddhist teaching, the thoughts and emotions (such as anger) that well up in the mind are not "things you yourself produce" but merely "objective phenomena that arise and vanish on their own," like clouds floating in the sky. As in the metaphor of champagne and its bubbles, the quiet part other than the "bubbles (thoughts)" is the true self.
The state of "happy whether I have it or not": Excessive attachment to happiness or success in turn creates "fear of loss" and further desire (suffering). The teaching is to avoid being bound to material results or success (overcoming "not-having"), and to keep a balance between the "happiness" of cherishing what you have now and the "ease (bliss)" that does not depend on it.
2. A Philosophy of "Non-Attachment to Results" in Business and Action
Overcoming the contradiction between planning and practice: In making and selling the notebook, he moved based on "do I want to deliver this to the world?" even when the first sales channels were not yet decided, and held to an attitude of non-attachment to results (such as unsold stock). That in turn led to long-term, sustainable expansion.
Lessons from youthful failure: In his younger years, he pressed his "own rightness" strongly on others and tried to control them, and became isolated in the organization. From that experience he shifted toward building organizations that draw out other people's strengths, and toward the importance of honestly accepting failure.
3. Bashar's "Formula" and the Science of Excitement
Absorption and goals: The equation in Bashar's teachings
1. An exciting goal
2. Wholehearted commitment
3. Non-attachment
4. Positivity
…Of these, if it is hard to find an "exciting goal," an effective approach is to find it paradoxically, starting from "what you can get completely absorbed in."
Definition of positivity: You do not need to be 100% positive all the time; it is enough if you are "51% positive" in total. And rather than heading toward a big future goal itself, the accumulation of "living this very moment with excitement" ends up being the shortest path to the goal.
4. Practicing Curiosity and the Outlook Ahead
Unknown challenges (singing and the stage): Even singing and dancing, which he felt weak at (a challenge toward the December event), bring enjoyment and growth afterward if you simply follow your intuition and start.
Upcoming projects:
Takumi Yamazaki: producing the film "Yaruki no Switch," which portrays the theme of giving people a push (filming complete, rollout planned from February 2027 onward).
Chigusa Aoki: an event on December 13 (additional sales of streaming tickets planned for October 17).

1. "Forms" of Impression and Self-Expression (Appearance, Posture, Blinking)
Controlling aura and impression:
One difference between celebrities and ordinary people is "blinking less." Reducing blinking and improving your posture are effective "forms" for conveying an impression of confidence and a refined aura.
Self-presentation as cosplay:
Deliberately adopting appearance and behavior suited to a role (cosplay) in order to earn social credibility and trust is a technique for smoothing relationships.
Diamond smile:
A big smile that shows ten front teeth, and a beautifully straight back, have a timeless, universal appeal and are good for yourself as well as for others.
2. Mindfulness Born from "Carefulness"
Movements and rhythm:
When returning to daily life from the extreme tension of shooting a film, for example, doing actions like putting things down and folding clothes "carefully" creates a rhythm within you and lets you make the day your own (a state of mindfulness).
The meaning of makeup and ritual:
Doing your makeup is not just about making your appearance pretty; it also has an aspect of "ritual" in which you face your own face and your inner self.
3. Relationship with Parents, and the Expansion of Life and Business
Unconscious influence from his mother:
Behavior patterns such as his greetings and consideration for others strongly reflect his parents (especially his mother), and are the roots of his own identity and sense of beauty.
A psychological approach in consulting:
In growing business and sociability greatly, repairing "the relationship with the mother (forgiveness and improvement)" and "the relationship with the father" inside the heart is deeply involved, and forgiving yourself ends up bringing benefits.
4. Challenging a Dream and Self-Acceptance (Behind the Scenes of Filmmaking)
Fear of speaking about dreams:
When he was once questioned about his "dream of becoming a film director," he felt fear and confusion, but after several years, through crowdfunding and more, he actually reached the completion of shooting for the film ("Yaruki no Switch").
Gratitude to myself as a partner:
It is important to have an objective pride and gratitude toward the life and choices of the self (the partner) who has run this far together with the person called "Takumi Yamazaki."

Next, I'm going to Korea~~~
↓↓↓
This area is apparently hot right now
Seongsu (Seoul), South Korea
The other day, I had a chance to talk with a doctor who has published more than 300 books.
"How can I stay healthy?" I asked this simple question, and the answer that came back was truly essential and made me stop and think.
"Don't entrust everything to doctors," he said.
According to the doctor,
Don't swallow what doctors say whole
Read books and information yourself and keep studying
Listen to the doctor's words as just "one opinion"
Deepen your daily learning and devise your own "original health methods"
This initiative is itself said to be a big secret to staying healthy.
I feel this applies not just to health: success in life and the path to happiness are all the same.
Leaving everything to what your parents say, entrusting everything to a company, or assuming "if this person says it, it must be absolute" is exactly what causes big mistakes.
Rather than depending on someone or something, spread the antenna of your curiosity wide.
I think this is really important, so I'm writing it here.
Really, it was a fun, powerful event~~~
How can you make a good impression?!
