Sendai was a huge success!
Yesterday, the bullet trains were down,
and since I had just gotten back from Bali,
I was casually thinking, “Maybe I get a day off today?” 😄
Around lunchtime,
I stopped by Hiroyuki Irie’s office
with Yosuke Kubozuka and Kitasato-kun.
I figured the rest of the day would be easygoing…
…but then came the news:
“The bullet trains are running again!” 😄
I jumped on one and—believe it or not—
arrived just two minutes before the event started!
But what truly amazed me was this:
Yoshiyuki-san sensed the bullet train delay early on.
Without hesitation, he drove straight to Sendai by car.
He instantly assessed the worst-case scenario
and acted with incredible speed and clarity.
That kind of passion is what made yesterday’s event so powerful.
It was a full house.
Microbiome. 20.20.20.
It felt like a glimpse into the world to come.
