It will be our 7th anniversary this spring since we opened Takumen.
So on Sunday, April 23, we will hold an event to celebrate our 7th anniversary with you.
We will also have a tasting of our new brand, Takusando cutlet sandwiches, which we are planning on launching this summer.

*The event will last about 2.5 hours.

Cost: $60 + beverages (tax and tip not included)
Meal: 6-course family style meal with seated seating, featuring Takumen's popular signature dishes and new dishes. Including a tasting of *Takusando
Beverages: The day will also include pairings carefully selected by Takumen's Sake Sommelier and General Manager, Sakaki Nakamura, and Natural Wine Director and Manager, Henry Aberle.

It was a visit to New York in 2019 that gave courage to my mother, Hiromi, who is unable to walk due to illness.
In New York, now that we have experienced lockdown,
I believe that our lives and connections within our home have been questioned.
We are living in an era of rapid change and increasing anxiety.
We would like to tell a story about a new way of "family" and "happiness" in New York.
