【Life's Rules Takumi Style】(excerpts from page 46)
"If you're going to do what you can do now, it's just action.
But you're going to do what you can't do now, and that's what will change you.
By changing your actions, that's what changes your life.
In reality, whether your goals are a success or not, either one is fine.
As long as your life changes through it."
Why I chose this.
↓↓
If you're just repeated what you can do now,
there is a feeling of getting a hang of things, or like you're getting more clever.
However, in all honesty, there is no feeling that it will "change my life."
There was a time that I wanted to, not necessarily "change my life"
but I wanted to "grow more and more past my current self"
and I had asked for advice on "how to do that?"
At that time, the advice I received was,
"More than getting stuck on the how,
it's important that through doing it, it will actually change your life."
I remember these words speaking straight to my heart!
The person who gave me this advice was Takumi Yamazaki.
My desire to garner new tips or find better ways to do things--getting hung up on the how
was not hidden to him.
If the premise is "if your life changes" then
・Whether your succeed or don't in your goals
・Whether its a good method or bad method for you
Neither really matters.
I'm always reminded about the important of "being" rather than "doing".
I read this page and remembered the advice I got back then, and it sparked a desire to "go back to the beginning."
